About Me
Hi… My name is Brandon and I’d like to explain to you a little bit about myself and what makes My Reboot @ 30 significant. It’s January of 2009. I’m 29 and working as a Marketing Producer for a local TV station. When the station was forced to make budget cuts, I was given the news that I’d be laid off. At first it was a bit hard to take, but (because I have a slight precog ability) I knew for a while it was coming. It was at that point I decided to make a choice, one that would set the direction of my life on a new course and change the way I do things. See… up to this point in time, I’d always been the type of person to make the safe choices and take the route that wouldn’t make my life difficult. Unfortunately, those choices also made my life pretty boring. It wasn’t until I found myself jobless that I decided to step out of my routine and make my life more interesting. It was then that I devised My Reboot @ 30. I was about to turn 30 and while looking back at my life, it seemed like I’d wasted a lot of time I couldn’t get back. So I determined that I’d no longer just live the rest of my life… I’d enjoy it. I’d be able to look back when I’m older and say “I tried that”. I’d make new choices and try things that scared me. It’s about making myself better and someone who will reflect back on his life and not regret it. I often times found myself saying I’d do certain things later. But the thing is… later never seemed to come. My new directive is to make later now. That’s what My Reboot @ 30 is all about and I want to share it with all of you. This is a scary and exciting time for me. But I think that by telling my story, I might be able to entertain you or maybe inspired to change your own life. Whatever it might bring, I’m inviting you along to follow me wherever life leads and see the world through my eyes. This is My Reboot @ 30.

This is great Brandon! I love how you came up with the name for this site. I also love that you are making a change (and what a change it is)! I find myself approaching 30 quickly and wondering what I’ll be thinking about my life so far. I have been making some changes, but I hope God will direct me to more. I wish you all the best God has for you and more.
“A ship in harbor is safe, but that’s not why ships are built”. Thought I would share my fortune cookie message with you. It seemed appropriate.

Hey Brandon! Looks like you’re having fun so far in Korea. I’m the person you chatted with on the airplane ride over here. Glad to see you are doing well!
